Responsibilities
Through a continuous risk assessment and in-depth understanding of the business, develop and execute an annual and multi-year audit program
Manage key stakeholder relationships to provide business insight on governance, risk management, and controls
Transfer risk and business knowledge to project teams to enable successful audit project execution
Effect change by assisting business management to develop appropriate action plans to address identified deficiencies, and ensure corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner to effectively address the issues
Communicate trends in risk and control issues to senior management on the results of ongoing reviews
Keep current and increase knowledge of company strategies, priorities, and business objectives
Provide coaching, performance evaluation, and mentoring to shared resource pool
Raise the manufacturing and supply chain knowledge of the group through knowledge sharing and project level insight
Work with the Devices and other hardware organizations to understand component, sub-assembly, manufacturing, quality, and production processes
Develop positive and collaborative relationships with key senior business leaders with minimal oversight
In the context of Internal Audit Charter, provide business insight to management
Communicate audit conclusions and issues to management and ensure that the risk is properly addressed or mitigated
Support the compilation of periodic reports to the Audit Committee and management, summarizing results of audit activities
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
10-15 years of experience in multiple manufacturing disciplines such as supply chain management or supplier management for complex, multi-tiered supply chain networks; preferably in high volume consumer electronics manufacturing
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain & Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management or related degree
APICS or ISM accredited certifications in CSCP, CPIM, CPSM, or CPM
Six Sigma Black or Green Belt, Lean Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and/or ISO auditor experience
Experience in supply chain management, logistics, distribution, sourcing, manufacturing, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), electronics manufacturing service (EMS) providers, contract electronics manufacturers (CEMs) and original design manufacturers (ODMs), product development and design, quality control, materials, systems and process design
Excellent leadership/management experience and an ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of the organization including executive leadership and plant operations
Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver controversial messages to senior management
Ability to work independently and within a matrix environment; a self-starter
Strong time management skills that require little supervision
Strong interpersonal & communication skills to collaborate effectively, build team consensus, and influence others
Strong process orientation, analytical, and planning ability
Ability to travel domestically and internationally for 2-3-week periods up to approximately 20-30% of the year.
