- Ensure all administration tasks are performed in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with CS policies and procedures.
- Day to day management and development of 13 Administrators.
- To act as a point for escalation of problems/issues arising in an appropriate and timely manner.
- To develop and maintain good communication and working relationships with both internal and external customers as well as colleagues and sales personnel.
- To demonstrate support for the Administration Team/Supervisor/CS Manager and show an example to the team, promoting teamwork and contributing to the overall achievement of departmental objectives.
- To assist and support peer group and provide a positive team working example to the rest of the team through these effective relationships.
- Previous people management experience, preferably in a customer service or administration environment
- Prior experience in a high paced administration environment.
- Essential individual is detail conscious and has commercial awareness.
- Experience of working with Continuous Improvement practices.
- Ability to coach and train new and existing staff
- Prior experience of HMRC customs and excise procedures would be beneficial.
- Intermediate Excel user
- 5 A-C GCSEs including Maths and English
