Business Analyst 
Location: London/Staines 
Pay Rate: £550 per day (LTD/UMB)

Your new job in London

Based on a prestigious client site in London, you will be a key contributor in complex and critical environments, working with the business to understand the business goals and objectives driving the need for change. You will gather and interpret financial information to provide input and challenge to a business case and you will engage with Senior Stakeholders in multiple business areas to scope business needs, identify options for solutions and facilitate effective decision making on investment of project capital.

You will extract documents and manage business requirements traceability throughout the project life cycle and estimate plans and manages all business analysis aspects of complex projects/programmes

Identifies and determines key issues, risks and contingencies. In addition, you will accurately assess and effectively communicate the impact of business operational and technical change to stakeholders at all levels including directors and above.

Furthermore you will also be responsible for conducting detailed business analysis e.g. business process improvement and ongoing benefits analysis as well as supporting and maintaining a consistent project management methodology ensuring analysis activities conform to appropriate governance including all

project documentation.

What you’ll need to succeed

The successful Senior Business Analyst based in London will have:

• Significant experience of business analysis in an Insurance background
• Demonstrable experience with a variety of Business Analysis tools and techniques
• Comprehensive knowledge of development life cycles
• Strong decision making and analytical skills
• Strong problem solving and proven negotiation and conflict management skills with the ability to resolve issues at all levels of management
• Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of relationship management
• Basic people leadership skills
• Ability to produce high quality, detailed and thorough analysis documentation
• Attained ISEB Business Analysis Diploma or IIBA Certificate of Competency
• or equivalent
