The Role
Business Change Manager
Salary: Up to £50,000 dependant on experience.
Permanent, Full time, 35 hours per week
Closing date: 27 August 2018
The successful applicant will play a key role shaping and supporting an emergent change management methodology within the organisation. Working with business owners, they will use their expertise to shape the organisations approach to change by raising awareness and desire for change whilst ensuring the human aspect of changes are considered. They will ultimately be responsible for embedding a pragmatic change approach, which ensures business objectives are delivered successfully.
Main Accountabilities
- To introduce and gain acceptance for a standardised approach to change management
- To support the design, development, delivery and management of communications on business changes
- To conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders for business changes
- To provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programmes that reinforce positive change
- To manage the change portfolio for the whole organisation, working with business owners to define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
- To co-ordinate efforts with other specialists in the organisation to ensure their expertise informs and shapes realistic and achievable business cases
- To identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics for business change adoption
- To support and engage with business owners and consult with project teams on their change agendas
Success Measures
- Develop an established business change management approach and tools e.g. business cases, that are accepted by business / project owners
- Organisation wide regular reporting and communications on business change activities and their impact
- Business owners use business change to ensure return on investment in business cases
- Organisation wide adoption of business change management methodology
