Job Summary and Mission
This position will contribute to the growing success of Starbucks in China by managing marketing communications for the category initiatives and brand campaigns. We’re looking for an experienced marketer with multi-channel brand marketing experience (strong digital channels marketing experience preferred) to develop and manage compelling content for program communication, promotion, new users acquisition and engagement. This role will directly impact building brand equity and achieving business growth objectives.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
· Develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotions and tactics for in and out of stores to dial up brand-level communication; support each campaign awareness and engagement with target segments.
· Source, identify and build sustainable partnership with paid social platforms, KOL and brand advocates in a holistic social marketing management.
· Actively track, measure the effectiveness of digital media efficiency, monitor investment ROI towards paid social clients, and take learning for future plan optimization
· Regularly monitor social media trends, market insights, explore new digital media platform and tools, and competitor information acquirement.
· Work cross internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure content plan alignment, execution quality and on-time delivery.
· Support regional marketing to provide social content, define local KOL marketing initiatives and program.
Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· 8+ years of marketing experience, including marketing communications, brand marketing, positioning, creative & copy development
· CRM experience with a sound understanding of loyalty program preferred
· Digital marketing experience strongly preferred
· Curiosity towards market landscape, emerging trends, and industry prospects
· Strong analytical understanding and proven capability to drive and inform creative-relevant business decisions and strategy/tactics development
· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
· Solid project management experience to meet deadlines, achieve goals, and balance multiple priorities
· Passion for customer experience
· Results oriented
· University degree or above
· Advertising agency or lifestyle brand experience a plus
